Ship Production
The key to your ability to defend your planet and attack enemy planets is the ships you possess. To have ships, you need to build them. You can do that on the Ship Production page.
For Ship Production you need to have the necessary technology available, so first you need to build the facilities (by construction and research) that are required for the various classes. Your technological development will allow the building of increasingly advanced ships.
You can construct facilities and conduct research from the Economy/Technology page.
On the Ship Production page you can find all types of ships specific to your species. Ship types that are available because you have the necessary technology are highlighted in bold letters. The types of ships that you do not have the necessary technological background for are indicated in shaded letters.
Once you have the necessary technological background, you can start the Ship Production process.
Ship Production Process:
On the right side of the data table you can find an empty space for each ship. Here you can enter the number of ships of that type that you wish to build.
- Ship: Name of ship.
- Class: Class of ship (e.g. Fi = Fighter, Gb = Gunboat, Fr = Frigate, De = Destroyer, Cr = Battle-cruiser, Bsh = Battleship).
- #1, #2, #3: Classes of ships that your particular ship can attack (in the order of attack).
- Metal, Crystal, Narion: Raw materials required for manufacturing the ship.
- Time: Number of rounds required for manufacturing the ship.
- Current Count: The number of this ship that you already own.
- Set for production: Where you indicate how many ships of this type you would like to build.
- Available: You can see here the available quantities of metal, crystal and narion.
- Production cost: Here you can see the production cost in metal, crystal and narion.
- Score: You can check how many points will be earned if the requested ships are built.
- Calculate: After you have filled in the fields on the right specifying the number of ships to be built, click on this button to calculate the cost of Ship Production.
- Produce: click on this button to activate the process of Ship Production.
You can calculate the raw material cost of the ships you want to build by using the Calculation button at the bottom of the table.
There are three types of raw material: metal, crystal and narion. To build any ship, these materials are required.
If you think you have the necessary resources for Ship Production, enter the required number in the empty check box on the right and click on the Set for production button. This will activate the Ship Production process.
Ship Production cost will be deducted from your stock of raw materials.
