Technology
You can construct facilities or conduct research on this page. Construction and research projects are sorted by type as follows:
- Fleet
- Drive
- Planet
- PDS (Planetary Defense System)
- Probes
- Raw material
- Advanced
You can initiate only one construction project and one research project at any one time. The raw material cost is indicated in each case (metal, crystal, narion) as well as the number of rounds required to complete the project. When that project has finished, you can start a new project.
The following are the possible stages of construction/research:
| Actual status | Options |
| Not eligible for construction/research | Only basic information can be seen but construction/research is not permitted. |
| Not currently eligible for construction/research | Construction/research is eligible but another construction/research project is in progress, which must be completed first. |
| Eligible for construction/research | This is activated by clicking on the Eligible for construction/research button. In this case, the necessary quantity of raw material is deducted from your stocks and the construction (or research) process commences. Only one construction and research project can be running at any one time. The others will have the status “Not currently eligible for construction/research” |
In progress | The number of rounds remaining until completion. You can stop any running construction/research project at any time by clicking on the Shutdown button. In that case, the project is returned to the status “Eligible for construction/research” and you get back 40% of the raw materials that you paid for the project. If your planet has a processing plant, you will get back 60%. |
| Completed | Once the construction/research has been completed successfully, the label ready is indicated in the basic information. |

- Here you can see the number of rounds required for the construction/research .
- You can see the status of the construction/research here. The following status levels might be shown:
- No label or button: not yet eligible for construction/research.
- Not currently eligible for construction/research: indicates that it is not yet eligible for construction/research because another project is in progress. You can run only one construction/research process at any one time.
- Eligible for construction/research: it is eligible for construction/research. Eligible for construction/research: it is eligible for construction/research.
- Shutdown: construction/research is in progress. You can stop the process by clicking on this button.
- Ready the construction/research project is complete.
You can reach the Technology page in these ways:
Click on the Technology submenu under the Economy menu.
- You can reach the Technology page by clicking on the Technology submenu of the Economy drop-down menu.
If you click on the Planet menu, you can open the Planet profile page. You can reach the Technology page by clicking on the Technology label in the heading within the Technology data sheet on the right hand side.
